Marcus Green is credited with the quote , “To be number one you have to train like you’re number two.” and that’s just what Hardaway’s fall sports; Football, basketball, and Volleyball  teams have been doing.

After all three programs having less than perfect seasons, they are taking this time to develop not only stronger players but stronger teams. “We are going to get stronger,” Girls’ Basketball Head Coach and football coordinator Kendall Mills said. Many players love this time of year. No games, no pressure of making it pass the first round, just simply getting better. “There are no days off, I train everyday whether it’s with cross fit, in the weight room with coach, or just on my own. I grind everyday, ” says Junior Serena Dent.

Sophomore Jimea Dunn says, ” I love this time because it allows me to get closer with my teammates. It’s a sacrifice, but it’s only going to make us better.”

Hardaway Athletics are setting the bar high this off season and there’s no where to go but up!

Football workouts are Mondays and Wednesdays from 4-6pm. Volleyball and basketball workout together also on Mondays and Wednesdays 7-8:30 pm!
